I joined these cheap cash gifting programs are around the same time to experiment because I wanted to see if these so called cheap cash gifting programs were actually any better than the higher level cash gifting programs.

The cash gifting programs I joined were from $6 to $25 dollars and even though those gifting levels may seem appealing to the masses they are a few reasons that I strongly suggest to stay away from these type of cheap cash gifting programs.

1: You can not move up unless you get a certain number of members actively participating. For example the one program that actually worked for a small time I needed 6 members to send me a gift before I could move to the next round of gifting. Sure they only had to start sending small $6 dollar gifts, but as it went through the rounds they stopped sending the gifts because they either did not have enough people under them or those people were not sending gifts like they were suppose to, because the people under them also needed to be active. So I was just stuck and there really was not anything I could do at that point.

These type of cheap cash gifting programs where you need to get a certain amount of people under you before you can move up will always fail you because your relying on the fact that other people will succeed and when they fail so do you! Do not let the small start up fool you, these programs are usually run by good hearted people but the truth is if you want results this is not what you want.

2: Legal? When I first started these cheap cash gifting programs they all seemed perfectly legal because we were sending/receiving cash gifts but now some time has passed and the program owners realizing that people were not moving up decided to try to “speed up” the gifting process using online payment processors and debit cards. This may seem like a good idea but now this is NOT cash gifting anymore! Since there is no products and since the money will show up on something like paypal, alertpay, solidtrust pay or whatever else and it will not seem like gifts and may look like a business. It may or may not be legal but if it is.. it is not really cash gifting if your not receiving actual cash.

3: Keep sending those cash gifts? Well this may seem minor but even if the gifting program keeps it proper not using electronic payments you will still need to send gifts for every round. You will always keep a certain amount and then send whatever the next round of participation is.. that is the way these cheap cash gifting programs work and if all of your gifters are not sending gifts to you then you will not have enough money for the next round of participation.

4: No marketing? This is one of the main reasons these cheap cash gifting programs suck! Not all but some of these smaller gifting programs do not allow any form of marketing because they are private “word of mouth” gifting programs and if you break the rules they will terminate your account. Good luck trying to get members without marketing.. yes it can be done but it is very difficult and not recommended. Some people get friends and family involved while others try to make new friends and suggest it to them.

Bottom line is waiting for people sucks and these cheap cash gifting programs are a waste of time!

Well in closing I would say don’t waste your time.. generally there are some good people running these type of programs with the right idea of helping others but the problem lies with how the program works and not the people participating or running the programs.

How is cash gifting like a pyramid scheme? People love to throw around the word “pyramid scheme” very loosely especially when it comes to cash gifting and most other work from home opportunities. These type of scams are rampant on the internet these days so when people promise you the moon just watch out you gotta be open minded but still keep your eyes open and make sure to do your due diligence when researching, joining or buying into any work from home opportunity, software package, marketing service or home based business.

When entering into work from home opportunities, a home based business or cash gifting.. people do lose money, that is a fact and this is a part of the learning process unfortunately for some people.

What you may be really saying is:

Is cash gifting legal? This is probably the number one question that pops up when people start to see the lucrative potential with this kind of activity, and it’s certainly the first thing that I wanted to know too… after all, I have no interest in getting into any type of legal hot water, and I’m sure you don’t either, so is cash gifting legal? Here’s what I found out.

In researching this activity, it’s important to keep in mind that there’s no book out there that tells you what is legal in our society, only what is not legal.

If you do your cash gifting legal research online, you’re going to see there’s really nothing saying that cash gifting is illegal. Most of the time it’s people expressing their personal opinions, not facts. And after years of experience and thorough research, no one has been able to show me the law in black and white stating that giving a cash gift is illegal.

In fact, I learned that both American and Canadian citizens have the Constitutional right to gift property, cash and other assets. Many other countries participating in cash gifting also have very similar gifting laws.

In the United States we have the Preamble, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to protect a private citizen’s rights to earn, pay taxes and give away property and cash as long as it’s done according to the laws and codes of this country. In 2008 in the United States of America, the law states that one or more individuals can give a cash gift to another individual of up to $12,000 each per calendar year without any tax liability to either the giver or receiver of the gift, because the tax on the gift has already been paid.

I also found that most well organized cash gifting programs require each participant to use some form of a Gifting Statement and/or Non-Solicitation form, which when signed, become binding agreements between two private individuals. These forms are used, it’s said, to ensure the longevity and legality of a gifting program.

So giving a gift of cash to someone, be it a friend, family member or a stranger is legal according to IRS code. Again, there’s no specific nation-wide law that I’ve been able to find to say that cash gifting is not legal.

Now, that being said, it’s important to note that not all Cash Gifting programs may be legal in their structure. Certainly there are some that may not be. Unfortunately, there are still some “old school” Cash Gifting programs out there (mostly offline) that weren’t structured properly in order to sustain their efforts for any considerable length of time, and some of them use an illegal pyramidal type of structure.

Consequently, many of these types of mostly offline programs in the past were closed by the feds because of this illegal “ever-widening base” pyramid structure and gave Cash Gifting a bad reputation.

However, in recent years, things have changed and more and more people are benefiting through the use of these types of programs than with any other structure in the World.
